Manganese is one of the important elements that helps plants grow naturally, and it is essential for forming chlorophyll even though it does not enter into its composition, but it plays an important role in forming the enzymes responsible for chlorophyll formation.
Symptoms of manganese deficiency in plants:
- The appearance of yellow color between veins in new leaves while the edges remain green.
- A yellowish green color appears in the form of spots near the edge of the leaf then extends to the middle of the leaf.
- Small dead decomposing spots appear along the middle of the leaf.
- The spots turn brown as in tomatoes, barley and wheat.
Treating manganese deficiency:
- Using Ducta manganese 13% chelated in fertilization.
